The Flexomatic plate washer represents excellence in the automated cleaning of printing plates, engineered to deliver high performance, reliability and ease of use. It combines advanced technology with simple operation, ensuring a complete and efficient cleaning process.

The Flexomatic is built with a sturdy, long-lasting structure designed to withstand intensive use over time. The main tank and the recirculation circuits, made entirely of stainless steel, guarantee resistance to corrosion and chemical agents.

It is equipped with an integrated PLC and an intuitive touch screen operator panel, allowing cycle parameters to be set and monitored with precision.

The Flexomatic offers two plate loading modes. In manual mode, the plate can be positioned easily thanks to a convenient infeed table. Alternatively, automatic mode allows several plates to be loaded simultaneously onto a feed conveyor, optimising workflow and reducing operator intervention.

Washing takes place in three stages. First, the rotating and oscillating brushes thoroughly remove residues and inks, even in the most difficult areas. Beneath the brushes, an adjustable spring system allows the pressure on the plate to be adapted, ensuring a perfect wash.

The detergent recirculation system features a stainless steel tank and a heating system that boosts the chemical action for more effective cleaning. Thanks to a dedicated pump and to the filters, the detergent is recirculated, ensuring a constant, impurity-free flow to the brushes.

After washing, the plate moves to the rinsing area, where it is treated with water recirculated from a dedicated tank. This process, supported by a pump and a filter, ensures the complete removal of every trace of chemical product from the plate. In the final stage, the plate is dried using a roller covered with absorbent material and a hot-air dryer. This system ensures that the plate comes out completely dry and ready to be stored.

The Flexomatic plate washer optimises operator time, reduces chemical consumption and improves the washing process. It also eliminates operator exposure to chemical substances, ensuring a safer working environment.

Over the years Ovit has developed a line of detergents specifically for plate cleaning, capable of rapidly removing various types of ink (solvent, UV and water-based). These products can be heated, are long-lasting and prevent foam from forming inside the machine and its tanks.
